This week has gotten away from me. We have had church stuff every night and Marc has been in more pain than usual.
Ethan began taking Spanish classes at the private school associated with our church. It will be interesting to see how he does in a classroom situation. I am not convinced this is a great idea but we will take it a week at a time and see.
The 28th is national love note day. It is a great time to start a tradition of writing little notes to your kids to encourage and bless them.
Homeschooling is an intense relationship. You are with your kids 24/7 and fill so many different roles that it can quickly become overwhelming. It is easy to begin to look at the negative qualities and forget about the strong, positive things your kids are doing. By focusing on writing them a short note a couple of times a week you can not only encourage them in their strengths but you can help yourself stay focused on the positives.
An added benefit is that as you write letters you child will learn to write letters, almost effortlessly…truly a win win situation!
