Carnival of Homeschooling: A Closer Look

The Carnival of Homeschooling I wrote about a couple of days ago is in full swing now and I am trying to work through some of the amazing, fascinating, funny, and informative posts. I thought that Candy Math from Treasure Seekers was a great idea. Kyrie has been spending time counting food items. She will only eat five of anything.. We don’ t do Halloween but we do like to snatch up the on sale leftover candy at 10 cents a bag!
Muddy Bathwater had me in fits of giggles with How to Survive Math. Each word could have easily been written by one of my kids.

I still haven’t made a lapbook with my kids but One Child Policy Homeschool has created a Squidoo lens with absolutely all of the resources I need to make a Thanksgiving Lapbook..except the time and focus to actually sit down with the kids and do it.

So far these have been my favorites although it will take me some time to read through them all.
