I was rereading some of the old posts here and thinking about the past nine months that I have been writing on this blog..A lot has happened, and a lot has changed, but my commitment to homeschooling my children has not.

My children have had a tough year ..Marc became disabled, our finances went south, and in December my oldest daughter and her family came to live with us. We are now 4 adults and 8 children in this house…working things out..And there is alot of learning there! I dare someone to ask me about socialization now.

Anyway..as I was reading over the past posts some stood out to me and spoke to me more than others..I thought I would share..

Tales From the Hamster Wheel discusses what really counts in life..and how kids learn it.

Homeschooling Through the Lens is about enriching your school with photography. This has been an important part of our classes and it really tends to get the kids interested.

Teaching Art in the Homeschool is one of my favorites because art is one of those subjects many homeschoolers would just like to skip…but it can be so much fun!

In Rebellious Teens-Homeschoolers are Real People Too I reminded myself that homeschooling was not an insurance program. :/

And one of my favorites, Cracking the Self Esteem Code talks about not creating self absorbed brats but building up what God has created…rather than tearing it down.

Enjoy looking over these posts…I know I have.
