So we are about to start drivers ed with Matt. The older two we sent off for someone else teach, figured the cost was offset by what it would cost us in nerve pills and strong alcoholic drinks.
We can’t afford to do it that way this time…so..has anyone taught drivers ed and survived? […]

The biggest temptation I have always had as my kids enter the high school years is to stop and grab curriculum so that I am comfortable that they are progressing at an *average * rate.

Basically high school subjects are chopped up into the following catagories (not in order):
English-
grammar, American Literature, EuropeanLiterature, creative writing, vocabulary
History-
Geography, world history, government, american history
Science:
biology 1 & 2, chemistry, physics
Math:
Algebra, geometry, algebra 2, trigonometry/calculus
foreign language:
2 years
Physical Education:
2 years
