Today is our first day back after our long Thanksgiving through New Years holiday, and this year we took an extra week because my husband had surgery last monday. The question, for me, is always how to schedule school holidays so that they come at just the right time.

Well, we had the gingerbread house party yesterday and it was great! Even the bigger kids really get into this, being very creative and having fun.
