LOL…I have seen this often.

My daughter Zowie took two classes at a local high school last year. This year she has a full schedule at the high school, and only two classes at home. She is so excited, it being her senior year. Then she will be off to college.

These situations can be tough. As a single mother, I didn’t have anyone there to take over teaching anything. I had to do it all myself as far as academics went. It could be difficult some days, but we muddled through.

You could try getting the math done first, then doing the other subjects, or leave the math for last, having your wife teach that subject.

Zowie will be in her senior year of high school this fall. She will actually be attending public school all day, and only having literature and Spanish here at home.

I have many books and other materials that I am going to be selling to other homeschool families. We will not need them any more. The proceeds will go toward getting her a few books to have on hand for her college years.

Summer learning with Skye and Zowie, when they were young, was a lot of fun and very entertaining. It involved creating invitations, decorations and posters for these events which they choreographed themselves:

an art show
a circus
a variety show

They had great times putting these things together with their friends and cousins.
